  The D-Link DES-321G is a 1 Port Gigabit Module designed specifically for the DES-3225G 22 +2 Switch. The DES-321G strictly adheres to the IEEE 802.3z 1000BaseSX specification standard. It has a single SC type ports for creating a Gigabit backbone link from the switch to another backbone switch or a server. This creates a 1000 Mbps link directly from the switch to the most critical elements in the networking environment. The D-Link DES-321G 1000BaseSX Module provides the user with a high-speed link for their critical network paths without the need to purchase a separate Gigabit switch.
