  The D-Link DSH-16 is a Dual Speed 16-port Ethernet/Fast Ethernet hub with 10/100Mb auto-sensing on each port and a built-in segment switch. It combines the functions of a Fast Ethernet hub, an Ethernet hub and a 10/100Mb switch in a single physical unit. The DSH-16 gives small offices and departmental workgroups maximum flexibility, scalability, resiliency, bandwidth management, and central traffic control by providing an economical migration path to faster technology all in one box. Transmission speed of the attached device is automatically determined via NWAY auto-negotiation on each port, creating independent 10Mb and 100Mb segments.
