The expansion modules permit users to implement a cost-effective 10/100Mbps switching solution now, and add functions or expand later.
To ensure data integrity, DES-3205 uses the store-and-forward switching mode that checks for reception errors before forwarding a packet to its destination. Data flow control is also implemented for each port to prevent buffer overruns and data loss.
