The ReadyLink RE100TX/WOL is a flexible network adapter that provides automatic dual-speed switching for the 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards. Using PCI-bus master architecture, the RE100TX/WOL efficiently minimizes the amount of CPU utilization required for data transfers. RE100TX/WOL also operates in full duplex mode, which transceives data simutaneously and effectively doubles network throughput. A socket is provided for optional Boot ROM which enables diskless booting from network operating systems such as Netware, Microsoft LAN Manager and Microsoft NT Server. Its Wake-On-LAN feature also allows remote powering of workstations.
